I am convinced it is a set up between the food chain and the weather stations, some sort of back hander is going on there. !! Anyway the mad Irish stepped out in full force for Paddy Gibney on Saturday night snow warning or not. they packed the house and a grand night was had by all. Thank you brave ones for taking the risk. Paddy and Bill where delighted. So now we look ahead of us. We have another great week of events lined up. This Thursday 24th in honor of Scottish poet Robert Burns. Music from Wake County safety Pipes & drums,. A reading from Scottish lass Ms Andie Montgomery, and the wee beasty "Haggis" will be piped in by pipe major Joe Brady. We had planned on doing a Scottish Whiskey tasting on this date as well, But circumstances beyond us changed that plan and we have now decided that The Whiskey tasting date will be Feb 20th. You can purchase tickets for that event at the pub or by phone from Feb 1st. The remainder of the January calendar is full with loads of very different events. We have a murder mystery show tickets for that also on sale now. And don't forget the BIGGEST Celtic line up of this year will be in the house FEB 1st Kilt night with award winning artists Old Blind Dogs, plus Seven Nations, Plus Wake County pipes & drums.
