Hello All
I hope this finds you all in good health. I have been just waiting on Fall to arrive, So I am excited. Our outside dining
area is back in full use, it was just  to hot to sit out there. So I am off today to buy new  flowers for the baskets so as
you can all look good while drinking under the spray of pretty colors.!!
It was lovely to see so many of you downtown this past weekend. Friday was a bit of a flop because of the storms. The
pipe band had to cancel apparently there was very high winds and tornadoes spotted in the area. Kilts & high winds,
Yeah, you got it NOT a good mix. BUT they will be back with us next month Winds or no winds.  Anyway Saturday  more
than made up for  Friday. The craic was flying. Everyone was enjoying the  cool of the night.  To sweeten the pot we
have Paddy Gibney in the house this weekend that means a full house big pints of the black stuff swaying in the air to
the rhythm of Bills fiddle and  Paddy belting bawdy Irish pub songs. It will be another grand weekend. YOU know us
Irish love a good fight, well,  We are all out to back the fight against Diabetes  On Friday night 10% of our food sales
between 5 pm and 11pm going back to the local chapter. Stop in for a bit of dinner a few drinks and a chance to catch
The Friendly Fiddlers who play lively catchy Celtic tunes from 7 until 9pm.

A heads up on 3 great events we have planned. Wednesday Oct 24th Kilt Night with ALBANNACH Tuesday October
30th the pub will turn into The Leaky Cauldron as we join forces with Camelot Treasures in Cary & Monkeyshines
Raleigh  to bring you the first HOG WART'S HALLOWEEN Party. Tickets will be $3 and go on sale next week @
Camelot Treasures in Cary Call them on 919-388-1708.
On Sunday  November  4th A Celtic Christmas will give you the chance to shop early for the season with many Celtic
traders in the house, plus lots of great live music. & dancers. Plus we are going to offer Afternoon Tea. You must
make reservations for the Tea. $15 per head or $19 per head if you want Champagne with it. IF you know anyone with
Celtic wares to sell please have them contact me. Mark your calendars now and I will keep you posted on these and
other events.

So enough about all that, lets roll on into what is up right now and take a look at the week ahead.

OUR party & wedding dates are booking up. I have some lovely Thank You cards from customers Many of whom have
said they wished they had had the wedding at the pub and Not just the rehearsal dinner.  Call me or send an email if
you have an event you would like us to help  you plan and we can do that on or off the premises.
Annie@tnnirishpub.com

On the travel news front, I told you about  Aer Lingus  flying from Washington Dulles direct to Dublin. The price  on
some of the Fall & Winter dates is Crazy. You could hardly get a bus for the price. Starting as low as  $169 each way.
Well prices are rising and fast, so Jump on it. You can still get a good deal,
IF you pick your travel times wisely. PLANS are presently under way for that 2008 PUB tour to Ireland, let me know if
your interested in coming with us. I'll have a set price and some more info once I get back from my next trip home in
NOVEMBER.

I look forward to seeing you over the weekend. And don't forget we have  complimentary Valet Parking on Friday &
Saturday night, it starts at 5pm. So save your feet for dancing. Plus from 5 until 6pm on Friday nights,  we have a
Complimentary buffet.

The drinking All Day........

So another week under our belt, where is the time going. The news from Ireland is the rain has stopped, almost 3
months of none stop rain in Ireland this year, however the upside is the grass is greener than ever and the flowers
spilling out of their beds. I am so looking forward to seeing Green Grass again. My next trip is lined up for November.  I
planned it so as to attend the famous Armagh pipers festival. www.armaghpipers.com  Nov 15th through 18th in the
City of Armagh. approx 20 minutes from my own home. I'll bring back music & news. And loads of pictures of something
YOU have not seen for a long time That green grass.!! Hopefully we will get a bit of rain here in the fall to liven things
up a bit.
On a personal note. The news on my Ma is much better Thank God and to you who offered prayers for her. Thanks a
million for that, she survived the recent heart attack and  is back into the unit for Alzheimer patients and apparently
sitting up in the bed making shopping lists for her wedding. !! God love her, but she is having fun doing it. I may even
bring her home a wedding present.

So that is  all the craic for now. And remember we can bring all this great stuff  to your  own venue. If you have an
event in the planning then please keep us in mind for catering and music. We can provide  service on and off the
premises. If your thinking of having  any kind of function we would love to help. Celtic style weddings our specialty.
Kilts/music and jewelry we can help you with it all. Call me direct on
919 624-7117.

Hope to see you soon.  In the meantime take care, but mostly be kind to each other.
